TechFit Soccer takes pride in being an international soccer training school with diverse multi-lingual training staff and a global network of soccer collaboration worldwide. It is an honor to share our knowledge and experience with the future soccer stars of today. Our mission is to bring it back to the Bay Area and uplift the local soccer, hopefully spreading throughout other surrounding parts of California.
How it all started
2018, Chris Harris started TechFit Soccer School. After an international pro player career, coach Chris wanted to pass on his knowledge to a new generation of players and contribute to the community. Since the start, Chris Harris has consistently brought passion, dedication, and high energy to each training session.
Coach Chris is a Bay-Area native who played pro in South America and Europe. He started his career playing youth soccer in the Bay Area with Bay Oaks, Santa Clara SC, and Mustang SC. He was a crucial player in the 89' and 90' State and Regional Olympic Development Program (ODP) teams and the U15-17 US National Team.
"Although I was a gifted soccer player, I didn't feel I had the best luck with my career. Life as a soccer player has highs and lows and can be very difficult. However, soccer has given me a magical and unforgettable experience I would not trade for anything in the world. Through it all, I have learned a lot which has made me into the person and trainer I am today.
In 2014 while playing in Finland, I became a trainer for high-level soccer players, some even at the professional level. This was a new way for me to utilize my love for soccer. I continued to play but had developed a new passion for going along with my playing. When I quit playing in 2018, I started working with the youth, and this is what formed TechFit. Since I was a traveling soccer player abroad, establishing relationships was essential. Many of the relationships I developed while abroad are today professional international collaborators of TechFit. These valuable collaborations provide young talent pathways to obtain unique experiences and hopefully be a fundamental part of their journeys in soccer, whether in college, professional, playing at a higher level, or simply experiencing something new. I plan for our players to use TechFit as a stepping stone to success."
